My name is Lady Jane Milford, and I am hailing you from your distant neighbors to the North, the Barony of Iron Bog.  We are holding a dance event on the Saturday of September 23rd, and would be greatly appreciative if you would forward the information on to your most worthy Shire.  
 
The Honorable Lordship Justinian Timagenes and myself, Lady Jane Milford, have been co-dance-mastering in the Barony of Iron Bog for the past four years.  We have recently decided to hold two annual dance events, within the southern region, annually.  Our kick-off event for our endeavor is being held in the Barony of Iron Bog, on September 23rd, with the event: Ball and Barter in the Bog.  This event will combine the art of dance with the art of bartering.  I have copied the event announcement below, and have also provided you with the online link.

Ball & Barter in the Bog

Come one, come all to the Ball and Barter in the Bog!!

To prepare for the Grand Ball in the evening a dance practice will be held throughout the day.  All dances taught have the potential of being included in the Ball that evening.  The Dance Master/Mistress encourage everyone to come and learn regardless of skill level!  A list of dances is provided below, the steps will be provided at troll.  The Branslers will be on-hand to provide our music.

This will be a Called Ball.  There will be no formal selection of dances for the Ball, the Dance Master and Mistress will be picking from the list as they see fit (though they will take requests
..)

If dancing is not to your taste, throughout the day there will also be space for all gentles to barter away any and all SCA appropriate items (i.e.  fabric, trims, books, baubles, etc.) Come prepared to trade your items for something new and have a good time doing it.  You will need to provide your own table if you wish.  If you have questions regarding the bartering or if you wish just merchant please contact Lady Ninian.

A day board will be available to all who enter, but there will be no feast.  Instead, a break will be scheduled to allow people eat.  There may be a Baronial Court at Their Excellencies discretion.

A list of restaurants will be provided at troll.  Contact the Autocrats if you need hotel information.  Please note this site is DRY.
