[Populace] Shire Meeting, Red Hat Demo and Letters of Intent Reminders

Greetings unto the Populace and Friends of the Shire,

The Red Hat Demo is this upcoming Sunday, October 15.  All are encouraged to
attend!!!  The more the merrier!!!

The next Shire Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17 at 7 p.m.  We
will meet again at my house.  Directions are below.  As always a social hour
(usually more than an hour...lol) will follow the formal part of the
meeting.  I encourage all to attend.

Also, this is a reminder that *Letters of Intent* for the offices of
Seneschal, Exchequer, Chatelaine, Herald, Minister of Arts and
Sciences,Knight Marshall  and Chronicler are due to me *prior to the start
of the the Shire Meeting on October 17*.  You may email them to me or mail
them (Valarie Ziminsky, PO Box 274, St. Georges, DE  19733) but *please
include a copy of your blue card or Pikestaff for proof of membership, or be
prepared to show them to me when you hand in your letter*.  Further, keep in
mind that a copy of the same as well as proof of residency (minors who live
with parents are excluded) will be needed to vote at the November
meeting.  Absentee ballots will be available as part of the Fort
Knights.  More info to follow.

Directions:
>From Points North:

Make your way to Rte. 1 South.  Exit 152 (Wrangle Hill Rd); turn left
at the light.  Turn right on Rte. 13 (second light; Getty Station on
one corner).  Just prior to the bridge, bear right at the road at the
base of the bridge (HVAC business on the right; if you go over the
bridge; you've gone too far).   Follow the road around to the left
back under the bridge.  You are on N. Main St.  104 N. Main is down on
your right.  It is suggested that you pass my house and turn left on
Delaware St. and park on this street and walk back.

>From Points South (utilizing Rte. 1):

Make your way to Rte. 1 North.  Exit 152 (Wrangle Hill Rd); turn right
at the light.  Turn right at the next light onto Rte. 13 (Getty
Station on one corner).  Just prior to the bridge, bear right at the
road at the base of the bridge (HVAC business on the right; if you go
over the bridge; you've gone too far).   Follow the road around to the
left under the bridge.  You are on N. Main St.  104 N. Main is down
on your right.  It is suggested that you pass my house and turn left
on Delaware St. and park on this street and walk back.

>From Points South (utilizing Rte. 13):

Rte. 13 NB, pass Frightland and go over the St. Georges' Bridge.  At
the very base of the bridge, turn right. This is Broad St.  Follow
Broad St. to the end, turn right on Delaware.  It is suggested that
you park on Delaware St. under the trees, and walk down to 104 N. Main
St.
