Greetings to All Good Gentles who read these words,

First please forgive the cross posting, but there are many to thank and I
wish to acknowledge as many as possible.

The Demo for the Red Hat Society was a smashing success!!! In no particular
order...thank you to Lady Ravenild and her wonderful staff for an awesome
dayboard that nearly had no end (except when everyone was fed and there was
little to no food left), thanks to all who came to display/demonstrate their
talents and those who made available their wares for purchase: games,
cordials, embroidery supplies, calligraphy and illumination, fiber arts,
knitting, bookbinding, chainmail and medieval tiles, Cookies from Gode
Cookery, medieval cookbooks and garb, Middle Eastern dance, the Fencers, and
Heavy Weapons Fighters and many more. I know I must be forgetting someone,
so please forgive me!!! To Lady Serena, the Demo Coordinator, who was
instrumental in putting together the demo and coordinating all activities.
Awesome job!!

Many thanks to Lady Grainne and her assistants for putting together the
Ransom Tourney and manning the lists. Our winner of the Ransom Tourney was
Mark IV from the Shire of Caer Adamant with 173 tokens!!!!! To all the
Fighters, Knights and Marshalls, thank you for winning over the ladies, and
for providing historical fact and humorous commentary. All in all it was
educational and entertaining!!

There were many positive comments by the Ladies and a great many thank yous
on their side before the Demo was finished. Contact information for
Bhakail, the Shire of Caer Adamant and the East Kingdom in general was given
out to many Red Hat Ladies, and to a few passing bystanders as well.

Vivats to all who participated from the members of the Shire to our friends
and neighbors who contributed to its success!!! Well done!!

Yours in Service,

Baroness Valentina Barrows
Seneschal
Shire of Caer Adamant
