[Populace] SWamp Thynge III Archery

 Greetings one and all,
   I would like to thank everyone that attended Swamp Thynge this past w=
eekend. Especially the diehards on Friday night ! The postman has nothin=
g on you.The rain and wind subsided by 11:00am and Archery was up and ru=
nning by 1:00pm. A roving range of targets depicting scenes from The Bay=
eux Tapestry challenged all Archers. At the end of the day Michel Wolffa=
uer (Harts horn Dale) took the Archers rank with a 42. Treya min Teanga =
(Bright Hills) took the Marksman rank with a 34. Our own Lewin de Parton=
e took the Bowman rank with a 59. And Goyacle' (Iron Bog) took the Maste=
r/Grand Master rank with a 65. Each were award with a depiction of a seg=
ment of the Bayeux Tapestry. The beautiful Illuminations were crafted by=
 Mistress Baroness Sarra the Lymner. Vivats to all the archers. A specia=
l thanks goes out to everyone who helped on the targets and marshaled th=
e ranges, especially Hedewigis, Marietta, Pappy, Tomaloc, Lewin and Wend=
y. I will leave to Marietta the honor of summarizing the rest of the eve=
nt.
