In 2008 Newark, Delaware will celebrate its sesquicentennial anniversary. To commemorate the event, the Mayors Offfice, City of Newark and the Delaware Heritage Commission, together with a number of citizen volunteers have collaborated to collect photographs, research and write chapters, and design a 300-page collection of Histories of Newark.

They are doing a One inch strip of photos to go through the entire book. They have been askin normal everyday people who live and work around Newark to Participate and my little sister in I got pulled into one of their photo sessions.. Well we endinged up, as always happens, mentioning the SCA. The photographer got really excited. They want people with props. And our swords, bows, and many accessories fit the bill quite well.
 
The problem is that the remaining photo sessions are on weekends which are packed (Spring Thynge and Dover Days)

He finally got back to me and let me know that he will be shooting a group of Boy Scouts on Thursday, May 3 at 7:00 pm. He would like to know if we could come just before or just after this.

So how about it every one. Can we gather a handful to get in out trappings and regalia and get a photo or two done. Having worked with this guy I can tell you that he's very quick and tis will only take a few minutes.
What's needed:
You, your garb (or armor) and the tools of your trade. 
This will immortalize us as a part of Newark History forever. Hey and who says we can pass out a brochure or two while we are still out and in garb.
